HOT, HOT, HOT!

I'm sitting inside my studio where I can see my poor plants, wilting and begging for some relief from this awful heat. We are officially into the "dead dog days of summer" here in Oklahoma.

I'm out in the yard early, watering until around 10:00 am, then back inside to work until 8:00 pm, then back outside. I think I'm ready for fall.

One good thing about the weather, I'm getting a lot of reading and writing done—half way
through my writing course. It's getting more involved and takes more time to complete
each assignment. Great fun though!
