Here it is February, 2011, it arrived so soon! It's been almost a year since I was here last, and so many changes have taken place. Six months ago I enrolled in a writing course, something I've always "intended to do." I'm having a great time and only wish I had done it sooner. I still have the support of my artists friends...and I will never stop painting, that's a part of
who I am. The writing course requires so much time that it takes top priority for now, and I have—
much—to learn.
I'm in rural Oklahoma, farm country. We got our share of the ice and snow this past week. It's still piled up in my back yard. It's beautiful, but, I'm ready for sunshine and the melt!
My good friend and photographer Susan Ferguson, emailed me an image she created in the snow. I loved it. My first impression was "Oh, a book cover! " I could almost write a short mystery just looking at this photo.
